  • Visa Application Form
  • Passport:Please ensure that your passport is valid 9 months with two blank pages
  • Aplication Form – Fully completed APPLICATION FORM in capital letters and black ink
  • Photographs – Two recent coloured passport size photos (glue one to application form form write name on the back of the other)
  • Letter from Employer addressed to the consular section and declaring employment  Self-employed person must  present the latest Ireland Revenue receipt/letter and a cover letter describing line of business)
  • Invitation letter (in Portugueses) The invitation letters MUST be annexed to the visa application form.
  • Bank Statement.
  • Itinerary – Copy of ticket or travel agent fight itinerary is required.
  • Proof of address:  British citizens do not require proof of address.

ECC Citizens must provide one proof of UK residence (original and photocopy):

  • Tenancy agreement
  • Council Tax
  • Water Bill
  • Full UK Driving Licence (Send copy of license and counterpart)

In addition to the above, NON-British citizens must ALSO present proof of their legal status in the UK (present one):

  • British Work visa
  • Student visa
  • Resident visa

This visa is granted for reason of urgency  which include meetings, conferences, medical treatments, funeral attendance. The visa must be used whiten three days after its issuance and allows the visitor to stay in Angolan territory for up to seven days. It can be extended for further seven says SME in Angola.

The visa is granted of family visit, cultural, scientific or tourism. Visas are valid for 60 days. Maximum stay of 30days.

Please read carefully and arrange the process in the order described below.

01 – Company letter in portuguese, in Company letter headed paper from the Angolan reg-istered Company addressed to the Consular Section of the Embassy of Angola in London – UK, requesting the visa, declaring the purpose of the visa, responsibility for stay and repat-riation and must contain the following data of the applicant:

A) Full name

B) Nationality

C) Date of birth

D) Place of Birth

E) Passport number

F) Passport issue date

G) Passport expire date

H) Profession

iI) Function to exercise

J) Project to attend in Angola

The letter must be dated and signed by an authorised person.

02 – Contract of employment in portuguese, written by a Company registered to operate in Angola, dated and signed, translated and autheticated (see legalisations) (1 photocopy af-ter authentication by the Consular Section);

03 – Letter from GP – Letter from the GP or the respective Health Centre stating that the applicant does not suffer from any infectious disease, translated and autheticated (see le-galisations) (1 photocopy after authentication by the Consular Section);

04 – Standard Criminal Record Certificate – Please see legalisations (1 photocopy of all documents after authentication by the Consular Section);

05 – Declaration of compliance with the Angolan laws in portuguese (Fill online and print here) must be dated and signed by the applicant;

06 – Certificate of professional or academic qualifications Please see legalisations (1 pho-tocopy of all documents after authentication by the Consular Section);

07 – Endorsement in portuguese from the Ministry of Public Administration, Employment and Social Security in case of institutions or public companies or in case of Private Com-panies, an endorsement from the Ministry related to the company’s business (i.e. if it is the Oil industry it must be from MINPET);

08 – High quality colour photocopy of Publication of the Diário da República which pub-lishes the Constitution of the Company (private);

09 – Letter from the applicant addressed to the Consular Section of the Embassy of Angola in London in Portuguese and english requesting the visa and declaring the reason for ap-plying. Date and signature are compulsory;

10 – Curriculum Vitae in Portuguese. Please see legalisations (1 photocopy of all docu-ments after authentication by the Consular Section);

11 – High quality colour photocopy of the recent TAX Revenue (DAR) in the case of institu-tions or private companies;

12 – High quality colour photocopy of the Company Charter (Alvará de Empresa) in An-gola;

13 – Certificate of Incorporation (Constituição da Empresa) of the Company in Angola;

14 – International Certificate of Vaccinations (photocopy of pages in colour);

15 – Photocopies of the passport: personal details and all visas (no empty pages);

PHOTOCOPIES OF LEGALISED DOCUMENTS (ENGLISH VERSION) AND THE AU-THENTICATIONS SHOULD BE ARRANGED IN ORDER DESCRIBED ABOVE AND ADDED AFTER NUMBER 15.

Observations

Please authenticate all documents before submitting the application. When filling the appli-cation form please fill all fields of page one, relevant fields in page two and page three. Signature and date of submission are mandatory. All documents described in this page must be submitted. Failure to comply with these requirements will result in delays or rejec-tion of the application.

 

Visa Application Form

The Residency Visa is conceded to foreign citizens who want to set u residence in Angolan territory.

1. Passport: Please ensure that your passport is valid 9 months with two blank pages

2. Application Form – Fully completed application form in capital letters and black ink

3. Photographs – Two recent coloured passport size photos

(glue one to application form write name on the back of the other)

4. Letter from Employer addressed to the Consular Section and declaring employment

Self-employed persons must present the latest Inland Revenue receipt/letter and a

cover letter describing line of business)

5. Invitation letter (in portuguese) The invitation letters MUST be annexed to the visa

application form.

6. Bank Statement

7. Itinerary- Copy of ticket or travel agent flight itinerary is required.

8. Proof of address:

a. British citizens do not require proof of address

b. ECC Citizens must provide one proof of UK residence (original and photocopy):

– Tenancy agreement

Visa Application Form

The purpose of this visa is the implementation of the approved investment, in accordance with the Pri-vate Investment Law.

The Privileged visa must be used within 60 days of award and entitles the holder to multiple entries and stay up to 2 years, renewable for equal periods of time. Should the request be submitted in An-gola, the visa is issued locally by a statement issued by the competent authority responsible for ap-proving the investment.

The companion/family member of the holder of a Privileged Visa must apply for a Temporary Stay Visa.

Applicants are advised that possessing a airfare ticket does NOT entitle the granting of the visa. Fee: Fees and Payment

Documents required:

– Letter addressed to the Consular Section stating the reason to apply for the visa;

– Application form fully completed with capital letters or typed and signed by the passport holder (Fill online and print or download application here);

– Passport valid for more than 9 months and 6 free pages; – Photocopy of passport personal pages and visas (no copies of empty pages);

– One (1) photograph, recent and in colour, on white background and without sunglasses (except for proven medical recommendation).

Photograph must be glued to the application form;

– Letter from GP – Letter from the GP or the respective Health Centre stating that the applicant does not suffer from any infectious disease, translated and autheticated (see legalisations) (1 photocopy af-ter authentication by the Consular Section);

– Standard Criminal Record Certificate – translated and autheticated (see legalisations) (1 photocopy after authentication by the Consular Section);

– Declaration of compliance with the Angolan laws in Portuguese (Fill onlineand print here) must be dated and signed by the applicant;

– Photocopy of the Certificate of Registration of the Private Investment (ANIP);

– Photocopy of Proof of Import Permit of Investment Capital, stamped by the National Bank of Angola (BNA);

– Power of Attorney to the person or institution whom represents the investors in Angola, if any, trans-lated and autheticated (see legalisations) (1 photocopy after authentication by the Consular Section);

Observations When filling the application form please fill all fields of page 1 and 3. Signature and date of submission is mandatory. If necessary fill relevant fields of page 2. All documents required must be presented. Failure to comply with these requirements will result in delays or rejection of the application.

 

Visa Application Form

2 – A passport valid for at least 9 months and 2 blank pages; 

3 – One (1) recent colour passport photograph (glue to the application form); 

 

4 – Letter from the applicant addressed to the Consular Section of the Embassy of Angola in London requesting the visa and declaring the reason for applying; 

 

5 – Proof of UK residence (British and Irish Citizens are exempt). One of the following: 

 

– Tenancy agreement 

– Council Tax 

– Water bill 

– Full UK Driving License) 

 

Non-British citizens must provide proof their legal status in the UK (one of the following) 

– Indefinite Leave to Remain 

– British work visa 

– Student visa 

6 – Bank Statement (photocopy) recently issued(up to 2 months); 

 

7 – Proof of accommodation in Angola (Hotel (paid) reservation); 

 

8 – Photocopy in colour of the International Vaccination Certificate; 

9 – Occupation: 

 

– Letter from Company addressed to the Consular Section declaring employment; 

 

– For Self-employed persons must present the latest Inland Revenue receipt/letter and a cover letter describing line of business. 

 

– For Unemployed persons – Letter (computerised) addressed to the Consular Section declaring unemployment and letter from JobCentre+, HMRC or similar; 

 

– For Retired persons – Letter from the Pension Company (State or Private) issued in the last 2 months. 

 

10 – Students – Letter from Educational Institution declaring enrolment and attendance; 

11 – Photocopies of main pages of passport which contain information of the applicant’s migratory movements (other visas); 

12 – Itinerary (online, airline or travel agent pre-booking). Purchase of ticket is not necessary to apply for the visa; 

 

FOR MINORS TRAVELLING TO ANGOLA:  

13 – Fully completed application form in capital letters and black ink (Fill online and print or download application here); 

14 – Passport valid for at least 9 months and 2 blank pages; 

15 – One (1) recent colour passport photograph (glue to the application form); 

 

16 – Letter from the Parent or guardian addressed to the Consular Section of the Embassy of Angola in London requesting the visa for the minor; 

 

17 – Students – Letter from Educational Institution declaring enrolment and attendance; 

 

18 – Photocopy in colour and of high quality of the full Birth certificate; 

 

19 – Photocopy of GP card (Medical registration) 

 

20 – Photocopy of Certificate of International Vaccines 

21 – If traveling without one or both parents/guardians a Travel Authorisation is required. The document must be in Portuguese and authenticated by a public notary and the Foreign Office (Non-Angolan citizens).  

 

Observations 

 

A tourist visa must be used within 60 days of being granted and is valid for 30 days, a period that can be extended (SME – Angola) once for a further 30 days. 

The bearer of a tourist visa is not allowed to establish residence or engage in any remunerated activity while in Angola.
